A highly socially relevant film, ‘Paathshaala’ : SHAHID KAPOOR

Shahid Kapoor is once again ready to break his chocolate boy image. In ‘Paathshaala’, He does not play a love struck teenager but a young sensitive English teacher at Saraswati Vidya Mandir, a school which is standing on the cusp of change – where its Principal Nana Patekar fights a vain battle with the capitalist school management, which treats education system as just another business venture.

A highly socially relevant film, ‘Paathshaala’ traces the dilemma of genuine teachers and students who fight against the profit-driven management in order to save the education system from its mass commercialization.

‘Paathshaala’ in many ways mirrors our present day education system and its ills that continue producing a disillusioned race in the name of brilliance. ‘Paathshaala’ portrays the predicament of modern day schools through Saraswati Vidya Mandir, whose management hikes fee and hires top marketing company to popularise its image. However, the glitz and glamour of modern day education system does not go down well with sensitive teachers, who try to salvage the real meaning of education and safeguard the interest of students.

Shahid Kapoor and Nana Patekar are simply brilliant in their author backed roles. Meanwhile, the Shahid Kapoor-Ayesha Takia romantic angle doesn’t seem making any headway.

Shoaib’s independence Worth Rs. 15 crore.

Shoaib buy his independence from his ex-wife is Rs. 15 crore. The Most hurdles crossed, Sania and Shoaib are now set to come together by a matrimony (holy matrimony).

The matter was resolved and Ayesha's family has withdrawn all cases against Shoaib lodged with Hyderabad police. Sources say that officially, Ayesha will get Rs 5,000 as mehr for three months during the Iddat period as alimony according to the Sharia law. And Ayesha's family emphatically denies any additional money changing hands.

But there're reports suggesting that Shaoib has paid a good 15 crore to buy his independence. Frantic negotiations anchored by several Muslim leaders, including cricketer-cum-MP Mohd Azharuddin, Andhra Pradesh minorities welfare minister Mohammed Ahmadullah, and Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary Abid Rasool Khan.

Sharman accept only big brand ads

Sharman Joshi has started endorsing big brands like Nokia and Airtel, after the success of `3 Idiots`, but he has just one movie - `Allah Ke Banday` - to look forward to in the near future.

"Right now I don`t have anything in hand. `Allah Kay Banday` will be my next film.In `Allah Ke Banday`, an intense drama about juvenile crimes, Sharman will be seen alongside veterans Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher. We have finished shooting for it. It is in post-production stage at the moment and I am still considering more scripts for future," Sharman told reporters.

The actor was celebrating 70 years of restaurant chain KFC`s signature product - Original recipe. While he took chunky bites of a chicken leg at the press meet, Sharman said he would love to endorse KFC, which is among his favourite eating joints.

But for now he is happy with his new set of endorsements which include Nokia and Airtel, brands which A-list actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have represented in the past.

"I am completely indifferent to thoughts like who was endorsing this product before or who else is. I am just proud to be associated with these brands because I believe in them. Nothing else beyond this matters," he said.
