Bollywood beauties, going under scalpel seems to have become the latest fad these days. Nevertheless, Shruti is a gutsy girl who has no qualms in accepting her nose job as the actress recently told a newspaper, "I didn`t do it because I thought my nose wasn`t the best. I did it for health purposes."The svelte actress maintained that she underwent septoplasty in order to get her deviated septum rectified – a problem that caused trouble while breathing and singing.
Shruti, who earlier had a hooked nose, now sports chiseled features thanks to her new nose job. It is believed that Shruti went forward with the nose job only when she was convinced that the surgery won’t change her voice.
With a new nose, the actress looked quite different at a recent event held last week in Mumbai as she said, "It is true that I underwent a nose surgery while I was abroad recently. But that was because I had a medical condition that restricted free breathing. There was no other reason for that. Now, post the surgery, I can finally sleep in peace and it has also enhanced my vocal skills."
