SHAMITA was born BY Surendra and Sunanda Shetty in the Southern Indian state . Shamita dropped out from Sydenham College in Mumbai in the 11th standard to pursue a diploma course in Fashion designing. Shamita Shetty always admired her famous sister Shilpa and wanted to follow in her footsteps. She is the younger sister of the famous SEXY Indian actress and ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ winner Shilpa Shetty.
SHILPA got a break in a big budget Bollywood film ‘Mohabbatein’ WITH Uday Chopra whom she later dated for a short period of time. The movie was produced by one of the greatest Indian. The film was based on the love stories of six youths who find their guide in the form of Shah Rukh Khan. The film also starred Amitabh Bachchan, who played a sort of non-believer of love.
