Rihanna bravely Shot in sharks infested waters

Rihanna is leaving no stone unturned to impress with her Hollywood debut and the pop star recently shot in shark infested waters for the film `Battleship`.

The USD 200 million project, depicts the story of a fleet of ships forced to fight a battle with an armada of unknown creatures in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals.

Scheduled for release on 18 May, the sci-fi naval war film also stars Liam Neeson, Brooklyn Decker, Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsgard.

The 23-year-old singer filmed in the waters off the coast of Hawaii, where sharks are regularly spotted, for the Peter Berg film, reported a website.

The `Umbrella` hit maker was surrounded by divers who were on standby with harpoons, during the shoot.

Berg, who has films like `Hancock`, `The Kingdom` and `The Rundown` to his credit, praised the singer saying, "She’s tough and urban."

Talking to a daily, a source said, “John’s camaraderie with Deepika has been the talk of the industry. Both appeared extremely comfortable, in each other’s company in London.”

Apparently, while Bipasha is hanging out with ‘Singularity’ co-star Josh Hartnett and ‘Dum Maro Dum’ actor Rana Daggubati, John’s latest squeeze is the dimpled hottie, who could not take her eyes off John, while shooting for Rohit Dhawan’s ‘Desi Boyz’.

“One never expected John and Deepika to bond with each other and that too so soon. But it has happened,” added the source.

When enquired about Deepika, John said, “She’s sweet and professional.” Well, one wonders what Sidhartha Mallya has to say of this new friendship.

While Deepika was unavailable for comment, a close friend of the actress said, “How can she come down for all the matches to be with Sidhartha, when she was shooting for ‘Desi Boyz’ in London, during that time?”

Interestingly, Deepika Padukone has publicly confirmed her relationship with Sidhartha Mallya.

The item girl RAKHI SAWANT was approached by an international filmmaker who wanted to make a drama on Kamasutra. But Rakhi Sawant does have boundaries. While she is comfortable with baring her assets on screen, she draws the line at having sex on screen. The role required the actress to demonstrate various sexual poses mentioned in the ancient sex manual with a male co-star.

Rakhi turned down the project. "Kama Sutra is also about aesthetics. People who don't understand it like the makers of the movie I was approached for, will make it into a sleazy sex fest. I didn't want to be a part of it even though it is an international project and I was getting to play the lead. It wasn't a big banner, big director project, so, why take the risk?" She reasons.

She has no qualms about exposing so why shy about sex scenes? She explains, "It is true that I expose and I do it quite often. It's also true that I'm very confident of my body but there are things that a girl can't do on screen. A line has to be drawn somewhere. I did not grow up thinking that I will expose my body and get credit for it.
The filmmakers wanted me to do so, and I did it to get a break. So many girls do so many things to make it big, so for me exposing was no big deal. But the project needed me to do sex poses on camera. I felt weird. I'm an Indian girl at the end of the day and couldn't think of doing such a thing on camera. It was sleazy and embarrassing."
