Kaveri Jha in Priyadarshan's Bum Bum Bole

According to our sources, Kaveri Jha signed for Priyadarshan's "Bum Bum Bole" the latest addition to the starcast is Kaveri Jha, who was last seen in Hijack opposite Shiney Ahuja. Besides Darsheel and Kaveri, the film also stars Atul Kulkarni and Rituparna Sengupta. While Atul plays Darsheel's father and Rituparna plays his mother; Kaveri has been signed to play the role of Atul's sister. News has it that the film runs on two parallels, one that deals with Darsheel and his faith in God, while the second is about the relationship between Kaveri and Atul.

Aamir replace Kishore Kumar

Aamir is completely occupied with his forthcoming film Ghajini that is slated to release on December 25. Apart from that his film Taare Zameen Par has been nominated for Oscars. According to Aamir after the Ghajini promos he will be busy in promotions of the film.

Aamir have been approached by Percept Pictures co. for the film on Kishore Kumar. They have asked Aamir to play the role of Kishore Kumar. After complete reading the full script appears fresh and interesting, he has no any reason not do the film. Aamir also have been a great fan of Kishore Kumar. ” Aamir said I have loved him both as a singer and an actor".

Coming back to the biopic on Kishore Kumar, it is also believed that UTV is also planning to make a film on Kishore Kumar. It can be recalled that before this filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor too planned a biopic of Kishore Kumar. Percept Picture Company has planned a biopic on legendry actor and singer Kishore Kumar. Apparently PPC has offered a lead role to Aamir Khan, which was revealed by the actor himself.

Prity Zinta Wins the best actress awards in Chicago.....

Bollywood star Prity Zinta ecstatic after winning the best actress award at the 44th Chicago International Film Festival for playing a battered Punjabi wife in Deepa Mehta's 'Heaven On Earth'. The award was announced Saturday and will be given Oct 29.

'It was my director Deepa Mehta who informed me on Saturday afternoon that I had won. I couldn't go to Chicago, and neither could Deepa. Without any lobbying I've done it. I am so happy and excited,' Preity Zinta told IANS. 'I'm walking on sunshine. I can't believe where I am,' added Preity who is also getting rave reviews for her performance in the just released 'Heroes'. Preity is thankful to Anupam Kher for her convincing performance in both the films.

'I attended his acting school (Actor Prepares) to get my Punjabi right for both the roles. He taught me how to pronounce the words properly. He has been a blessing.' Preity is that this international award will help sell 'Heaven On Earth' to a global audience.

Bipasa and Rani Missing her town festival this year. It’s after a long long time that the Bong beauty missed the Mukherjee Bari puja, Rani Mukerji was away in Chandigarh shooting for Yash Raj film, Ishqiya. Rani’s mom was quite upset with Rani’s absence. She says, “Who told her to give her puja dates to the producer? She should not expect the producer to give her time off while the crew waits for the shoot at Chandigarh.”
