"She`s not going to be a working child. For me it`s kind of creepy, the whole working kid kind of thing," said Jovovich.
The 34-year-old actress insisted that she only embarked on her career so young to help her family out of poverty.
"We were struggling financially, we were immigrants from Russia and we really needed to succeed. My mom saw talent in me and she wanted to make the best and most out of it. There is no real use for Ever to work. I definitely want my daughter to just be a child. Work hard in school and find your passion, slowly," said Jovovich.
The actress, who is married to director Paul W S Anderson, is planning to scale back her own career commitments to spend more time with her family.
